For the Arduino portion of Big IDEA, we were given a booklet and a student Arduino kit. We had to follow along and create our own Arduino circuits. We had to complete a total of around 13 Arduino assignments. Each assignment built off the previous one and helped increase our knowledge of coding and building electronic circuits. I had some difficulty because of how small the pieces were and how they were very delicate and couldn't be manhandled. I actually enjoyed learning about Arduino and thought it was kind of fun! I didn't however like the coding at all. It was confusing and hard to fix if there was a problem in the coding.
After having completed all the assignments I became more proficient with Arduino. I now have the basic understanding of setting up a circuit on a breadboard and creating and uploading the code for it to work. I thought the Arduino unit was the hardest unit because I really had to stay focused and be very precise with everything I was doing.
